If you subscribe to a Mother's Earth newsletter, or ask us to send you information material, your personal data will be used to inform you about our products and services. You create an account (and you store in our webshop)
To place an order through our website, you can register yourself as a customer. You create an account, which is password protected and linked to your e-mail address. You enter your data yourself and, by logging into your account, you can change it at any time.

Which products you have viewed in the past 60 days;
Your account number/account details

We do not process payment data. Payments to our webshop are processed through a third party (Payment Service Provider, PSP). Through our PSP you can pay securely in several ways. You only enter your credit card or bank account details on these secure pages and then complete your order here. We only receive notification from the PSP that your payment has been received but not your credit card or bank account number. If you choose to pay via Klarna, then the above also applies but in addition we record your date of birth, this is necessary to authenticate your payment. This in information is shared with Klarna.

CUSTOM AUDIENCE TARGETING
When you order products from us, and you have given us permission to do so, we may also use your email address for custom audience targeting through Facebook. Mother's Earth creates a custom audience group by uploading email addresses of its customers in an advertising tool. This group can then be linked to a specific Facebook campaign: only these Facebook users will see the campaign. If you do not (or no longer) want to be part of a custom audience advertising tool, you can indicate this at any time via the following e-mail address: support@mothersearth.com.
You store in our webshop without login/account
To place an order via our website, it is not necessary to register as a customer. You enter the data we need to process your order yourself and can change this data at any time.

HOW IS YOUR DATA PROTECTED?
Mother's Earth understands that keeping your personal information secure is very important. The information stored in our database is protected using common electronic security techniques, according to current data security standards.
You can only access your account if you correctly enter your email address and password. All passwords and sensitive information are protected by encryption and never viewable by us.
Our websites and web applications are protected by SSL certificates. You can recognize this by the green lock icon to the left of the URL in your browser's address bar. All data you send and receive via our website is thus encrypted and cannot be read by third parties. The exchange of data between our websites and our processing partners also takes place using secure connections.
HOW LONG IS YOUR DATA KEPT?
Mother's Earth does not keep your data longer than legally permitted and necessary for the purposes for which your data is processed. How long certain data is kept depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed
Mother's Earth maintains the following retention periods:
Website visit data: 6 months;
Data concerning a complaint or question: up to 6 months after the complaint or question has been dealt with;
Data regarding the purchase of our products: 5 years (statutory limitation period);
Administrative data regarding the purchase of our products: 7 years (tax retention period)
In the unlikely event of legal proceedings, we will retain your data for 6 months after the proceedings have been finally concluded.
ACCESS AND CORRECTION OF YOUR DATA AND OTHER RIGHTS TO WHICH YOU ARE ENTITLED
Access, correction, restriction, deletion of your data
If you wish, Mother's Earth can provide you with an overview of your personal data known to us.
If the information turns out to be incorrect, or its storage appears to be in violation of applicable laws and regulations, we will correct this information or remove it at your request. Requests for access, correction, restriction, deletion or can be made at
submitted at any time by sending an email to support@mothersearth.com. Mother's Earth will then delete or correct your information within 4 weeks after confirmation. We will respond to your request within 4 weeks.
Making an objection
If you disagree with any particular processing of your data, you may object to the processing at any time by sending an e-mail to support@mothersearth.com. We will respond to your objection as soon as possible after receiving your e-mail, but in any case within 4 weeks.
Data portability
You have the right to data portability. This means that you have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a usable form in order to transfer it to another data controller. If you wish to receive your data in such a form, please send an e-mail to support@mothersearth.com. We will then contact you as soon as possible to discuss the format in which you would like to receive the data. We will respond to your request within 4 weeks. If the request is complex, we will inform you within 4 weeks that we need up to 2 additional months to respond substantively to your request. Thus, the time limit for responding to complex requests is a maximum of 3 months.
Withdrawing previously given consent
If you have given us consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw this consent at any time by sending an email to support@mothersearth.com. We will answer and confirm your request regarding withdrawal of consent as soon as possible, but in any case within 4 weeks.
